Europe America once holding hands Faring together the closest of friends Europe America now drifting apart It tears at my loyalties it frightens my heart Now that is more than ever Crucial to be close together At a time of tension growing Unity we should be showing To mankind all over the earth Let’s be more aware of values that we share The message to distribute Of giving people hope Of peace over the globe There is so much we can contribute to the good In the face of mounting dangers We can’t afford becoming strangers Instead we should display the notion Of a mighty bridge across the ocean Europe America once holding hands Faring together the closest of friends Europe America now drifting apart It tears at my loyalties it frightens my heart Europe et Amérique une fois unis En travers de l’Atlantique les meilleurs amis Europe et Amérique en train d’ se quitter Ca déchire mon coeur et ma loyalité It tears at my loyalties it frightens my heart
